The return of Wotan
At the onset of consciousness each race of man, in an attempt to understand both themselves and the world around them, brought forth their gods. Myth and legend served as the primary vehicles of expression for these gods. In the hearts and minds of our ancestors these gods embodied the virtues our race held most dear. These virtues included the aspect of the "Shadow Self" - an ideal or manifestation our ancestors recognized, acknowledged and accepted as part of themselves, and even called forth during the heat of battle.
Each of our ancestors specific virtues was attributed to an individual god or goddess with the result being that through the myths and legends the gods acquired a life of their own. In the parables of our ancestor's myth and legends the elements of nature and honorable virtues are taught through the actions of the gods. These parables also teach an individual that he, not some unidentifiable spirit in the sky, is responsible for his own destiny. Our ancestors primary concern was with survival itself. They did not have the benefit of modern science to explain nature to them; therefore, nature was consequently attributed to the actions or embodiments of the gods. Even to this day, nature is considered a divine power unto itself (possessing its own immutable laws that apply to everyone and everything) so it is not surprising that by following the paths set firth by their gods (laws of nature) our ancestors were able to flourish and grow.
Honor, Courage, Duty and Loyalty were counted among the virtues of our gods. The gods, as spiritual embodiments of these virtues are ingrained in the collective psyche of our people; and even though the Viking age with all of its many superstitions is dead, our gods like on within the collective subconsciousness of our race. There are many of our people who choose to dress up in furs and horned helmets and thereby attempt to worship some Vikings in the sky. These individuals miss the point entirely. The gods, and all that they embody, are within us. There is only one true EXTERNAL divinity, and that is Nature. As the late great National Socialist thinker, Savitri Devi, stated in her classical work The Lightning and the Sun - "The truth is that there is no other 'God' but the immanent, impersonal divinity of Nature - of life, the universal self. No tribal god is 'God'. Tribal gods are more or less divine, to the extent that they embody and express a more of less divine collective soul.
Rituals, on the other hand, have always been, and are still important to our Folk. Their importance lies in the fact that they bring together the community of our Folk and help cement the bonds of Blood and Culture. When our Folk gather and invoke our gods they are calling on the collective soul.
Rituals, on the other hand, have always been, and are still important to our Folk. Their importance lies in the fact that they bring together the community of our Folk and help cement the bonds of Blood and Culture. When our Folk gather and invoke our gods they are calling on the collective virtues of our race. When they call on Wotan, they are calling on the collective wisdom of our Folk. When they call on Thor, they are calling on the collective strength of our Folk (not just physical strength, but the strength of the community). When they call of Tyr, they are calling on the collective courage, the self-sacrifice for hte good of the while and the sense of justice found in our Folk. When they call on Heindall, they are calling on the collective vigilance of our Folk, etc... These virtues are found not only in the collective unconsciousness of our Folk, but also deep sown in the individuals themselves.
Blind faith and submissiveness are NOT traits natural to our Folk. They were forced upon our ancestors by the point of a sword in the name of the alien Judeo-Christian god. Today many of our people are waking up to their Folk-soul and returning to their roots, the essence of their own good sense (common sense), but it also appeals to that which has lain dormant within their souls.
Professor Carl J. Jung stated in his treatise on Wotan that Wotan will return in the time of need. Never before in the history of our race has the need been greater. Wotan is returning; He is moving among our Folk right now. Don't miss him Kinsmen by looking for some Viking in the sky.
